Jay & Taryn's Woodcliff Hotel Wedding Photos - Rochester Wedding Photography

Hey everyone! Welcome to the last wedding blog of the year! 2016 was an amazing year and I can’t wait until wedding season starts up again in 2017! Today, I’m sharing with you Jay & Taryn’s Woodcliff Hotel Wedding Photos! I first met up Jay and Taryn at Letchworth State Park for their engagement photos. We started the wedding day off at the beautiful Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Rochester, NY in the Art Deco Suite. As usual the girls were all getting ready. I took a few minutes to take photos of the dress and the details. Once everyone was ready, it was time for the first look with the bride and groom. I love doing a first look before the ceremony. It gives us all the time we need to take photos, and the bride and groom are so much more relaxed the rest of the day. After Jay and Taryn had a few moments to themselves, we took the couple over to the lookout, which has a really incredible view. The wind and temperature didn’t let us stay there too long, but it was a great spot while we were there.

After some family photos, it was time for the ceremony! The room was beautifully lit and decorated. The ceremony was short but sweet, and Jay and Taryn were excited to finally be married! We had time for a few fun photos outside before it was time to start the reception.

As the night went on, you could feel the anticipation growing as we got closer to the new year. These folks were here to party! As it drew closer to midnight, we made sure everything was set up to get the shot when we rang in the new year. My man Nate, from Fingerlakes Entertainment, did a great job in getting everyone pumped up and counting us down to midnight. The confetti flew, guests celebrated and we got the shots! We wrapped up the night with a sparkler exit outside the hotel. It was a really fun night and it was a great way to start 2017!
