Jon & Izzy's Mill Creek Golf Club Wedding Photos

Hey everyone, I’m pumped to share another blog with you all! This time, it’s Jon & Izzy’s Mill Creek Golf Club Wedding Photos. It was really a great day. Aside from Jon & Izzy getting married, the story of the day was the location and the sunset. I knew it was an incredible sunset, but I didn’t realize just how great until I got home and saw the many posts on Facebook about it.

The first big event of the day was the first look. Thankfully, Mill Creek Golf Club had a ton of beautiful locations to choose from. We chose the highpoint of the course and set it up there. It’s one of my favorite spots I’ve done a first look at. After that, we spent some time around the Golf Club taking photos of the wedding party and the bride and groom. After that, it was time for the ceremony. It was in another amazing spot over looking miles and miles of land. You could even see downtown Rochester. Once they were married, it was on to the reception!

After getting through the formalities and dinner was served, we were talking about whether or not to try and get the bride and groom out for sunset photos. At that point, it didn’t look like much and it could have easily gotten dark without seeing anything nice to work with. We decided to hope for the best, and by the time we got to the location we picked out, things were looking pretty good. As we were finishing up, I looked behind us and saw the the sky opposite the sunset was really beautiful. Since we had golf carts (thanks Leslie!),  we could quickly get to another spot where we could see the sky better. After getting those shots, we were about to head back into the reception, but noticed the sunset getting better and better. Of course, we took advantage and drove back to the first location to get a few more photos. This was, by far, the best sunset at a wedding this year. I’m so glad we were able to capture the love of Jon and Izzy with such a beautiful backdrop!
