Shanna & Anthony's Lake of Isles, CT Wedding Photos
Well, this is it. The last wedding of 2014. What a great one it was! I had the pleasure of shooting Shanna and Anthony’s wedding in Connecticut this past holiday weekend. Despite my flight being canceled early Friday morning, (which is why I always travel the day before) I made it to CT late that evening and was able to get some rest before the big day. On Saturday, I went over to Fox Tower where Shanna was getting ready. This place has an incredible view, especially from the 18th floor. I got some really great photos with Shanna and the girls, and before long, it was time for the ceremony.
There was a parade in town that went right by the church. Thankfully, we knew ahead of time which streets would be closed. St. Patrick’s Cathedral in North Stonington is a beautiful place for a wedding. I’m really glad I got to take some photos there. After the ceremony we headed over to the Lake of Isles for some pictures and the reception. This time of year sunlight is a valuable commodity and we were running out of it. Of course, we were able to get some really great photos before the sun went down. Props to Shanna and the bridesmaids for standing so long in the cold and being happy to do it. You guys made it easy!
The inside of the Lake of Isles venue was as beautiful as the outside, which made shooting there a pleasure. The reception went off without a hitch and these people kept the dance floor full all night. I had such a great time. Thanks for having me Shanna and Anthony! Congrats!
