20 of the Best Wedding Venues In Buffalo, NY
I’ve photographed over 200 weddings in Buffalo, NY. I’ve seen just about all the region has to offer. Below I have listed 20 of the best wedding venues in Buffalo, NY.
Getting married involves so many decisions and details. One of the most important is the venue! Buffalo offers everything from elegant, historical spaces, to rustic barns, to scenic views.
AVANTI MANSION
The Avanti Mansion is one of Western New York’s best wedding venues. That’s not just my opinion, but also the way the people of Buffalo voted in 2019. It’s one of the few all-in-one venues in the region. You can stay the night in their newly renovated “Wed & Breakfast” wing, get your hair and makeup done in the bridal suite, have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and of course, your reception, all on the same property. They also include highly experienced wedding planners to help you with all the details.
They have 3 reception venues (2 outdoor, 1 indoor) and 4 ceremony venues (3 outdoor, 1 indoor). With so many options, it’s hard not to find something you’ll love! In addition, it’s also a great place for a Winter wedding!
Admiral Room
The Admiral Room at the Marin is one of Buffalo’s newest and most beautiful venues. They opened in 2018 after remodeling the former Marine Trust Building. As soon as you walk in, you’re struck by the elegance of this historic building. You’ll see marble and wrought iron in the entryway, forty foot ceilings with classic pillars and tall windows in the main room, and a giant bank vault underneath the banquet hall. It’s incredible and one of my favorite venues to work at.
Pearl Street & Pearl at the Webb
Pearl Street & Pearl at the Webb is a unique venue in the center of the city. If you love a rustic feel and the charm of downtown Buffalo, this is your spot. They have 3 different options for receptions, each on a different floor, as well as a multi-room option at the Webb. One of the things people love most about this location is the food – it’s always spot on!
Hotel Henry
Hotel Henry is one of the most iconic and historic venues in Western New York. It’s been recently renovated and is absolutely gorgeous! They’ve got everything from large ball rooms to a ton of unique little spots like a spiraling brick staircase. It’s also a hotel, so staying over and getting ready on-location are made easy.
Hotel at the Lafayette
Hotel at the Lafayette is one of Buffalo’s most unique and historic destinations. It’s been welcoming people for over 100 years. It’s also packed with everything you could ever want. They have 6 different venues within the building. Everything from a rustic wood feel with exposed brick walls to 25 foot vaulted ceilings and marble floors. If that weren’t enough, they offer over 50 individually designed guest rooms and suites, open-air courtyards, and a stylish craft coffee shop on the first floor.
The Timberlodge at Arrowhead
The Timberlodge at Arrowhead is located on a golf course in Akron, NY. Here you’ll find a rustic timber framed post-and-beam dining area, outdoor heated patios, a gazebo, and fire pit, all on perfectly groomed grounds. There’s a pond just outside the main wedding area with huge weeping willow trees. It’s also a great spot for sunsets!
The Sterling at Arrowhead
The Sterling at Arrowhead is a brand new venue in 2020. It’s located on the same grounds as the Timberlodge. The difference between the two is that the Sterling is elegant with a touch of rustic and the Timberlodge is rustic with a touch of elegance. The Sterling can seat up to 400 guests and has a bridal suite, covered and open patios, balconies, and an island ceremony area.
500 Pearl
500 Pearl is a newly renovated, high-end facility with roots stretching back to 1914, located in Buffalo’s Theater District. They have 5 very different cocktail and banquet rooms in which you’ll find gilded ceilings, soaring spaces, vintage balconies, and guest seating up to 288. Everything here is brand new or newly refurbished. They also have an attached hotel, a bowling alley, and Buffalo’s highest rooftop bar: Patrick’s Rooftop, with beautiful views of downtown.
Statler City
Statler City is one of Buffalo’s iconic landmarks, located in Niagara Square near City Hall in the heart of downtown. If you’re looking for an elegant venue that’s steeped in history, this is a place you have to tour. They have 4 different ball rooms with guest seating up to 400. As a photographer, this is an incredible place to work. With marble floors, towering walls, intricate ceilings, ornate chandeliers, balconies, and even an indoor fountain, Statler City is one of Buffalo’s premier wedding venues.
Vizcarra Vineyards at Becker Farms
Becker Farms is a beautiful place for a wedding located in Gasport, NY. They have two venues to choose from, as well as a private bridal suite. For those that will appreciate the onsite vineyards, rustic wagons, and vintage barns, this is the perfect place.
