Keith & Kara's Hotel at the Lafayette Wedding – Buffalo Wedding Photography

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share Keith & Kara’s Hotel at the Lafayette wedding photos! The Marquis Ballroom at the Lafayette is one of my favorite rooms in Buffalo to shoot a reception, and Keith and Kara had it packed out! We started things out upstairs in one of the hotel suites. It’s always great when you have a beautiful room to work in! The girls were getting ready and the hair stylists and makeup artists had everything on point. After the girls helped Kara get into her dress, it was time to head over to the church.

Keith and Kara wanted to be with each other for a few minutes and have the priest bless them before the ceremony. Keith wanted to wait to see Kara until the ceremony, so he wore a blindfold. It was a fun and special moment!

As it usually is, the walk down the aisle was emotional for the bride and her dad. Keith did his best to keep it together, but it’s always hard at such a momentous part of the day. The ceremony was beautiful, and afterwards, we made the drive back to downtown Buffalo and headed down to the waterfront for photos.

The photo session was moving along nicely until I heard the sound of car horn from about a century ago. The wedding party flagged down an elderly gentleman and his wife, and asking if we could use their car, and they obliged. It was great to have an opportunity to use an antique car, and I think Keith had a little too much fun with it! Our last stop before the reception was Lafayette Square. The view and lighting is always good there! #buffalove

On to the ceremony! There were lots of highlights, including one of the bridesmaids carrying a groomsman at least twice her size, cake smashing, an intense garter/bouquet ceremony, & lots and lots of dancing––the floor was packed ALL NIGHT!

All in all, it was a great day! Congrats to Keith & Kara!
